Beloved Hunter Valley Woman Succumbs After Tragic Fall in Thailand

Kylee Enwright, a cherished member of the Hunter Valley community, tragically passed away following complications from a fall during a vacation in Thailand with her husband, Paul. After slipping at their resort, Kylee sustained a severe brain injury and was swiftly taken to a major hospital in Phuket for extensive surgery.

Determined to get the best care for Kylee, Paul launched a GoFundMe campaign, raising over $200,000. This enabled her to be medically evacuated back home to the John Hunter Hospital. Initially showing promising signs of recovery, she progressed from immobility to walking and began forming words. Sadly, a second brain bleed struck, which she couldn’t overcome.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, Paul shared, “Kylee was one of the kindest, most generous people I have had the privilege to know.” He revealed that her legacy would continue through organ donations, potentially offering up to eight individuals a renewed chance at life.

The Enwrights, known for their successful pest management business in Singleton, have left an indelible mark on their community.

The Kylee Enwright brain injury case serves as a reminder of the impact traumatic brain injuries can have on individuals and their families. It is hoped that her story will help raise awareness of the need for greater support and protection against brain injury.
