Toddler Suffers Traumatic Brain Injury at Daycare

Ponca City police are investigating a distressing incident at a daycare where a toddler endured a traumatic brain injury. The 3-year-old girl, Natalie, has returned home after spending several days in the hospital. Despite the ordeal, her mother, Brianna Walton, mentions that Natalie is managing reasonably well.

The incident occurred when Natalie was dropped on her head by an older male student at the daycare, according to her mother. Walton received a call from the teacher urging her to pick Natalie up. Upon arrival, Walton noticed bruising on Natalie’s cheek, along with symptoms like vomiting and complaints of a headache.

The parents, Brianna Walton and Russell Parson, expressed their concern for Natalie’s well-being and shared the challenges they faced as a family. Parson emphasized the importance of staying strong for their daughter during this frightening experience.
